Sorry mate, but when I worked on building sites when I was younger, Liver and Bacon was a very popular breakfast. For good reasons too - full of protein and little fat.

The English breakfast society ( they have a website ) say that hash browns being American origin are quite wrong and should be replaced by a potato option and this is frequently chips.

A luxury alternative to english breakfast and one of my all time favourites

Liver and Bacon with gravy, onions and mashed potatoes or bubble and squeak.

Not a breakfast fry-up.

But - egg, bacon, sausage, fried tom, chips - that's also a fry up, but it's lunch.

Done that already....its ok.


My favourite tho is.......

Oven cook sweet potato wedges with plenty of olive oil with some chopped garlic. When softened mash and chop up with skin on.....Chuck in some chopped coriander chopped fresh chilli chopped red onion squeeze of lime juice. Give it a mix up and serve with a meat of your choice.

For me usually half of a spatchcock chicken with Piri Piri seasoning and loads of BROCCOLI.
